Why it matters

Your sewing machine is special.

Maybe it was your mother's or grandmother's. Maybe it was a thrift store find or a garage sale score. Maybe it was a graduation present, or something you saved up for and finally bought yourself.

No matter how old or new it is, or how many stitches it has, we know it is special. Let us keep it running so you can keep sewing.

He tuned up and fixed my 50 year old Singer sewing machine. He gave me a timeline of a week and I heard from him within that time. His price was extremely reasonable. Would highly recommend!

Doug has repaired two vintage machines for me, a Singer and a Kenmore. Both work beautifully. He is very honest, gives an estimate upfront, and communicates really well. So glad to have someone this knowledgeable around.

First time I took my Singer Featherweight to Doug. The bobbin case chamber was very jammed with thread. Repair was one week out and the price was very fair. I definitely recommend his service.

Antoinette Bushlack

A great resource for the cleaning and maintenance of my Bernina. Doug went through it carefully and made me aware of things to watch for with this old girl. And very reasonably priced. Thank you.

Beverly Roach

Only took a week to get my grandmother's 60 plus year old Sears Kenmore back up and running after years sitting idle. Doug is very pleasant and knowledgeable, and charged a very fair price.

Meet Eddie, head of greetings.

Our coworker Eddie is a very busy rescue Jack Russell and dachshund mix. He loves going for walks, finding mail carriers with treats, and barking hello to our customers.

Please call before you come so we know to expect you. Eddie is very friendly, and he stays out of the shop area unless you ask to say hi.
